Thank You Voters

Thank You Voters!

We at the Garfield County Libraries are thrilled with the results of the recent election. Voters not only approved the libraries’ ballot measure 6A, but did so with a nearly three-to-one margin.

The passage of this measure will double our materials budget for the next two years, without increasing taxes. It will fund more books, eBooks, movies, and audiobooks for the children, adults, and teens throughout the county. Over the next year, we will add approximately 14,000 new items to our collection! This is an important step for our libraries as we have endured significant budget cuts over the last few years.

We want to thank all of the voters who came out and supported us. We are excited to put your votes to work. Stay tuned for even greater things from your local libraries. Thank you!
