Learn what it takes to grow a garden in mountain climates, how to grow beautiful vegetables in a short growing season, take advantage of available sunlight and water, and protect/preserve beneficial insects while deterring common garden pests using environmentally friendly strategies. 

A second class "Pollinator Habitat" will be taught the following week.

Both classes will be taught by Abi Saeed who has a Master’s degree in Entomology and is the Agriculture/Horticulture & Natural Resources Extension Agent for the Garfield County CSU Extension Office.
