Welcome to a Day in Tahiti

Your Garfield County Libraries invite you to a dance concert to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage. Aspen Polynesia will present a fun show where they will feature different Ori Tahiti dances, from the beautiful and exotic island of Tahiti. Do you know what an Otea ( oh•tay•ah) or an Aparima (ah•pear•ee•mah) is? Do you know what instruments are used to play Tahitian music? Aspen Polynesia will explain all this and more. Come to enjoy a free bilingual show full of dancing and drumming!
