REnew, REstore, READ!

Your Garfield County Libraries and Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (RFOV) are joining forces to host a book discussion and facilitate learning about the upcoming work of the Glenwood Canyon Restoration Alliance. Last year, the Grizzly Creek Fire burned 32,000 acres across Glenwood Canyon. Starting this spring, RFOV – leading the Glenwood Canyon Restoration Alliance – will renew landscape and community through collective action. By discussing the book "The Reindeer Chronicles," RFOV will explain how the multi-year restoration effort will move successfully from beginning to middle to its eventual finish. Copies of "The Reindeer Chronicles" are available at each of the six Garfield County Libraries on a first come, first served basis. The book discussion will be held virtually at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12.
