The Rifle Branch Library is sponsoring a Pumpkin Decorating Contest where you use paper, glue, paint, markers, pipe cleaners, fabric, or any other craft items to decorate a pumpkin as your favorite book character or literary theme. NO CARVING! There will be four entry categories including children, tweens, teens, and adults. Your pumpkin must be delivered to the library by Tuesday October 23rd, and the public will then be invited to vote for their favorites in each age category. We will display the pumpkins in the library through the end of the month, and the winners will be announced on Halloween. Small prizes will be awarded! Free to participate, and open to all.
