Way back in November of 2019 the citizens of Garfield County graciously voted to increase the District's funding so that we could expand staff and service hours. Then came the pandemic. We were able to expand key staffing positions but had to put expanded hours on hold.

Now after much delay, the staff at Garfield County Libraries is ready and excited to increase our hours of operation in phases. As of November 1, 2021 all libraries are now open at 10 a.m., Monday - Saturday. On January 3, we'll add evening hours - with Sunday hours coming May 1, 2022. We appreciate your continued patience and support during this difficult past year and hope these additional hours give you more time to visit your local library.
