Ride Garfield County: a week of bikes and buses

Ride Garfield County Team Challenge

Join the Garfield County Libraries in getting outside and riding your bike for fun and transportation during the Ride Garfield County Team Challenge. Sign up to track the miles you've traveled and join the library's team on the National Bike Challenge website. Share your bike selfies and stories by using the hashtag #RideGarCo

During the week of June 19-26, we invite all library fans to make an effort to walk, bike, or bus your way to any of the libraries to get signed up for the challenge, browse bicycle book displays, and attend Summer Reading programs for all ages! Events will be taking place at locations throughout the county. Check the full schedule of events from Garfield Clean Energy.

The Glenwood Springs Branch Library will be hosting a Bike to Work Day celebration on Wednesday, June 24 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Join us on the plaza for coffee and juice, Moe's breakfast burritos, Sweet Coloradough donuts, and giveaways!

Read the full press release for more details on the challenge from the Post Independent.
