Spring Lecture Series Featuring Dr. Daniel Medeiros

University of Colorado Boulder Associate Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Dr. Daniel Medeiros will discuss the field of Evolutionary Developmental Biology, or Evo-Devo, and how the Evo-Devo approach is being used to solve one of the oldest questions in biology, the origin of animal diversity.

Before the lecture, you are invited to visit the "Evo-Devo: Sharing Genes for 3.5 Billion Years" exhibit in the Glenwood Springs Branch Library. The exhibit explores some of the key research that has contributed to this new area of science and the connections to our daily lives. This exhibit was produced through collaboration between the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Museum of Natural History at the University of Colorado Boulder and was funded by the National Science Foundation.
