Procedure for self‐nomination to the Garfield County Public Library District Board of Directors:

Any interested person can send a letter of interest and resume to the Garfield County Public Library District Board of Directors, care of:

Recommendations for appointment are sent to the Garfield County Board of County Commissioners for review and approval on an as‐needed basis.

 

Mill levy and total tax revenues:

The Garfield County Public Library District collects 1 mill of property tax annually through 2027.

Total property tax revenues:

2010 - $5,161,348

 

Board meeting information:

The Garfield County Public Library District Board of Directors meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. The meetings rotate between the six branch libraries. The agenda and meeting announcements are posted on our website as well as on the bulletin boards at all six library locations at least 72 hours in advance of the meetings.
