Renew Items
You may renew items online, in-person at any of our six branches, or over the phone. For information on branch library locations, phone numbers, and hours, visit our Locations page.
To renew items online, login to our online catalog with your name and library card number. Once you are logged in, a list of items checked out on your library card will appear. You may also click on the My Account link near the top right of the screen from anywhere in the catalog once you are logged in.
The list of checked out items is ordered by due date, so items due soonest appear at the top of the list. Click in the little square box just to the left of the image of the item(s) you wish to renew, then scroll down and click on the Renew Selected Items button at the bottom of the list. If your renewal request is successful, the item will move down the list, ordered by the new due date, and the message "Your item was successfully renewed" will appear in green letters below the new due date.
An item may not be renewable if another patron has placed a hold on it, if you have previously renewed the item (for example, DVDs may be renewed once), or if the item was loaned to you (through the Garfield County Libraries) from another library system. If you have trouble renewing items online, please call your local branch library during business hours. We would be happy to assist you over the phone.
