Book Clubs

Teens! Join us at the New Castle Branch Library on Thursday, July 18 at 1:00 pm for the book club that combines reading and discussing good books with delicious banana splits. Banana Split Book Club meets the third Thursday of each month.

Join this new book club where we will explore fabulous stories in the light of day. Please come prepared with ideas for future titles, and plan on having a good time sharing your passion for good books.
We will be meeting on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for the months of June and July, at the New Castle Branch Library.

The Alex project connects students with adults through a shared love of reading. Teens and Adults may sign up for the Alex Project through June 15th at the Gordon Cooper Library or online here. All participants are invited to attend the celebration dinner on August 6 at 6:30 pm to meet their reading partner and talk about the books they read.

 Join us at the Parachute Branch Library on Tuesday, June 18 from noon to 2:00 pm for Ladies Who Do Lunch Bunch.  We will discuss a contemporary book and enjoy a pot-luck lunch.

 For those that want to be part of a book club but don't want to be told what to read, this is the book club for you. Bring WHATEVER book/manga/graphic novel/etc. you are currently reading and share your thoughts, opinions, revelations... anything you want to share! Snacks and refreshments provided with various book club activities each month.

Whatever' Book Club takes place at the Rifle Branch Library on Tuesday, May 14 at 4:30 pm.

Join us at the Parachute Branch Library as we discuss a book and enjoy a pot-luck lunch.  Ladies Who Do Lunch Bunch meets on Tuesday, May 21 at 12:00 noon.

Elementary school students are invited to the New Castle Branch Library on Tuesday, May 5 at 4:30 pm for the What Are You Reading? Bookclub.  We will discuss books and authors that you are reading and just have fun with books. Snacks will be provided!
