About the Parachute Branch Library

Parachute Branch Library has been serving the people of Battlement Mesa, Parachute, and neighboring communities for over 38 years. The library provides knowledge, experiences, and creativity through its diverse book and digital collections, technology resources, storytimes, and community events and programs for all ages.

Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff welcome you to your library! On cold days expect to see a warm fire, comfy chairs, and natural light in our fireside lounge area. Our spacious community room plays host to a wide variety of programs and events, from weekly storytime for children to an annual Harry Potter festival and a monthly culinary program for adults. The community room can be reserved by the public and fits up to 110 people. It features an A/V system that includes a projector, sound system, and a DVD player, as well as a kitchen with a double oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, and popcorn popper. Community members may also reserve our study room, which accommodates up to four people, as a quiet workspace. We have eight computers with internet access and printing capabilities, a printer/scanner/copier/fax machine, and free WiFi.
